Reason for wanting: It’s a part of Zan’s history that he obtains a small force of bandits and a large village to house them all in.
RP sample:
The Bandit Leader sighed. It seemed that the leader of the small village would not agree to his terms. Really, they were not all that demanding; give Zan Xi one fourth of the gold in the village’s treasury so that he could properly outfit his bandit force, or they would take the money by force by conquering their village. The old fool had really believed that the small personal guard the bandit lord had brought with him was the entirety of the bandit force that he controlled. However, before Xi could tell him that he was mistaken, the old man had ordered that archers fire upon the bandits. None of the arrows had met their marks, as the archers were mere peasants with no training in holding a bow what-so-ever.
“Oh well, at least he cannot say that I did not try to do things the easy way. Men! It looks like we have to take the money by force!” Under his breath Xi added the word: “Again.”
Suddenly, the forest around the village exploded with life, as hundreds of bandits rushed out to clash with a small militia that had been gathered in the village.
“Men! Try to leave them alive if at all possible! It wouldn’t be quite fair to kill them all you know.”
Xi laughed after he finished speaking. Really, when would these small villages learn? Never underestimate the power of numbers possessed by a bandit force.
